The location of this house inspired us to create a true vacation home, except for every day enjoyment. The lot is surrounded by nature yet has a stunning view of downtown LA. We designed an L-shaped house to block out any connection to the street, and orient everything to the large yard, the infinity pool and the stunning views. Every window was placed to capture either nature or the city view, making it feel like you are alone in the hills while in the middle of Los Angeles.
The Mediterranean vibe with a dose of Tulum spirit further evoke the vacation vibe. Simple white stucco with statement stone walls, large black paned openings and olive and pepper trees in gravel are all it takes. Subtle simplicity can have stunning results.
