By rebuilding and expanding the central living and dining room area with higher ceilings than the two “wings” of the house, we took a run-down mid-century modern house with typically low ceilings and gave it some breathing room.
We gave the rest of the house a major contemporary facelift by infusing light and white, while maintaining the overall vibe of the original architecture. The front yard went from an overgrown mess to an amazing “teaser” leaving you wondering what amazing oasis lies beyond the walls. The white stucco, gravel and shadows of the palms and olive trees create a Mediterranean vibe that adds to the intrigue.
