There are so many things that inspire us in European design. There is a huge history and an accumulation of styles from south to north and everything in between. The variety of architecture, materials and interiors that are found from the warmth of the Mediterranean to the “cool” (pun intended) of the Nordic countries are a limitless source of inspiration.

Never try too hard… This Danish mountain cabin is pure simplicity and the stark contrasts of colors against the white snow… just beautiful!
Aside from their Viking roots, Icelanders have a strong culture of food, literature and the arts and it shows. This combination of wood in this structure is just art with an attitude.
Love the exposed brick, concrete floors and quintessential British column. It’s amazing how a space that used to be something totally different (Factory? Warehouse?) can become a warm home if you do it right.
The smoothness of the white stucco brings out the best in all the surrounding natural elements. This is a house you just want to live forever in knowing you’ll unwind in the tranquillity of it all and be zen.
It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly does it but this new construction villa is somehow able to be reminiscent of an old Dutch/European estate home while being obviously contemporary. Certainly the windows and the openness add to the overall design.
